Our two photography sessions with Stuart McIntyre
Last week, Stuart of Photo Nottingham took a small group of us
to The Arboretum to show us some ideas on how to take better
photos, with our own cameras. We spent another hour with him
back at the studio, where he went through our photos with us,
and also tweaked a few of them with Photoshop.
Last Tuesday, we spent a couple of hours with him in his studio,
taking photos of ourselves with Stuart altering the lighting and
camera settings for us, followed by a review of our pics on his
computer screen (plus a few more Photoshop ideas).
I've set up this slide show to show you some of the photos we took.
You'll see that Stuart is a wizard with the lighting, and as you'd
expect his digital cameras are of very high quality too. The
quality of his photos taken with a top of the range Canon camera
(12 megapixels) was mind-blowing ... you'll see examples of them
on his website (see below).
We all feel very grateful to Stuart for giving up his time to
show us all this. If you would like to see Stuart's website (with
a fabulous collection of photos on it), just click here.
