GIMP Basics again.

This week, JH will be answering any queries you might have about using
GIMP, which is a free photo-editor you can download from the internet.

If there are no queries, I will run through some of the basics again on how
to use GIMP, referring to Gimp pages 1 and 2 of my website …

I started using Photoshop in 2004, and then switched to using Gimp
2-3 years ago. I use it mainly for processing photos to put on several
websites I’ve set up (including the current Nottingham U3A one) and for
my Flickr site also …

I also use Gimp for making e-cards to send to family & friends.

I’ll be showing a few of my photos for demonstration purposes at my talk.
I’ve put these up on an online file-sharing website (ge.tt), which is free
to use … you can download these for your own personal use, if you so
wish. To publish these in any way, will require my permission, and a
donation to Nottingham U3A funds. :)

The photos will stay online for 90 days only … here is a link to the
Ge.tt webpage … http://ge.tt/8qlcdV5
