Computer Club Meetings
For the next few months, our Computer Club will be meeting up less often
… every 4 weeks instead of every 2 weeks (see the list of meetings below).
If more people would like to give a talk on a computer-related subject,
then we could meet up more often. We would be happy to give anyone our
help and support in preparing and setting up a talk.
We are currently thinking about starting up some classes for people who
are new to using a computer. These would most likely run on a Thursday
morning in the intervening weeks, starting on 2 October (provisionally).
We will let you know more about this in due course.
Here is the programme for meetings up to 16 October 08…
12 June 08 ..... no meeting
26 June 08 ..... A look at Windows Vista (John Hollins)
24 July 08 ..... Q & A discussion group (Christine Baxter)
(if there is time at the end, JH will talk briefly about iGoogle)
21 August 08 ..... Using Microsoft Excel – Part 2 (Graham Godfrey)
18 Sept 08..... Using Microsoft Word – Part 2 (Ken Bates)
16 Oct 08 .....Family History internet research – Part 2
