This is a circular to all our online U3A members, outlining what's we're doing
at the Computer Club in next few sessions, and to give you advance publicity
about the Photo-editing classes in May and the Internet classes in June ….
Computer Club Programme ....
Alternate Thursday mornings, Week One, 10.15-11.15, at the ICC. We
have space for more people, if you'd like to attend.
4 April 07 Beryl Whittaker will show us more about "Picture It".
19 April 07 Jo James will show us how to make a poster, with Publisher.
3 May 07 Christine Baxter will talk about "The Versatility of Word"
17 May 07 (may be Christine on part two of "The Versatility of Word", or
JH on "Tidying up your Computer", and a look at various ways
of "Backing up your files").

Every Friday morning in May -- 4 sessions in all, 10.30 – 12.30, at the ICC
(with a break at half-time). The first session will be on Friday 4 May 2007 .
Have you got some family photos, which you'd like to rejuvenate, or some
perhaps spoilt by "red eye", an unlevel horizon, or an unwanted object or
person? Or perhaps you'd like to see a younger version of yourself in the
photo? Would you like to create a photo-montage or change a photo in
a painterly way? If so, then this is the course for you.
The people who would benefit most from this course will already own a
digital camera, will be able to download photos from a camera onto a
computer, and will be able to handle a computer mouse.
Fairly soon there will be more info about the course in the photographs
section of our website. Please contact JH if you'd like to come .... by phone,
