Two keyboard shortcuts for you ...

The first one was shown to me by my friend Barry.

If you're filling in a form online (eg putting in your
name and address and payment details onto a
shopping site), you can press the Tab key (that's
the key just above the Caps Lock key), to hop from
one line to the next. I find this a good time-saver,
and cuts down having to use the mouse.

The second one was shown to me by one of my
daughters, and that is to press down the Tab key

and the Alt key together, if you wish to toggle
between a
couple of pages -- say a website page
and a Word
document, if you're copying info from
one to the other. Occasionally, I'm now able to
show my daughters a thing or two on computer use
-- so a bit of role-reversal there. :)

If you have any time-saving or helpful tips you'd
like to share
with us (I.T. ones, that is), please let
me know and I'll put them up on this blogsite.
