Here are a few links to review articles I found on a Google search ….
Info on Internet Explorer 9 (which comes with Windows 7)

A review article I found on my Yahoo site …

This section on the PCMAG website is regularly updated with new
versions of all the main browsers..

If you wish to try out Google Chrome’s web browser, download
this early morning for speedier downloading. If you wish to try
out the spring-cleaner: Piriform CCleaner, you will be presented
an option to download Google Chrome at the same time …
I recommend you download both at the same time. (More
about CCleaner on my last post on this blogsite).
There are loads of extra features you can add onto Google
Chrome, to make it more useful. Access these via the
Google Chrome Store.... https://chrome.google.com/webstore
Use its search box, if there’s a specific add-on you’d like
to have.
I’m currently using Awesome Screenshot (AS), for screen capture
of online material, and the tinyURL add-on to shorten website
addresses.
For info on how to use AS, here’s an article I found online …. http://www.wikihow.com/Use-Awesome-Screenshot
To prettify your browser site with a theme ....
click on the black spanner icon > Options > Personal stuff >
Get themes (at bottom of list) > “Themes by artists”
Have a look through these … I use Chris Delbuck’s design from
the second row.
If you prefer something plainer, have a look at “Themes by Google”
… the Classic look is very popular. At the top of the screen, after
choosing one, there is an Undo arrow, if you wish to go back to the
previous theme. If you try out a lot of themes, but would like to
re-try an earlier one, shut Google Chrome down, and use
Piriform CCleaner to spring-clean away all the earlier themes you
looked at.
For browsing in private, click on the black spanner icon, and then
select “new incognito window”. Read through the info in the centre
of the screen, to see how much privacy you’ll get. Use the top
URL/address box for doing a search on Google for what you want.
I hope you will enjoy using Google Chrome.
